| A very funny thing happened to one of my friends, who told me this story today. Few days earlier, while he was standing near the entrance of Starbucks, one white couple came in and made a nasty comment about him blocking their way. Feeling enraged, he told them to mind their own business when the white guy approached him, and said the forbidden word, "Chink". At that point, my friend was ready to punch the white guy's face when a black dude, who was witnessing the entire scene from a distance suddenly intervened, and said to the white guy, " Why you gotta pick on a minority. You call him a Chink, so now are you calling me a Nigga?! Are you or are you not calling me a Nigga?!" Then the white guy got really nervous himself and quickly left with an apology for both my friend and the black guy. HaHa.
Funny things always happen when you venture out, and especially when you live in the city. Countless bums on the street with their lovely odor, gay couples holding hands or even grabbing each others asses in public, cabs that try to run you over, and tons of buildings with NYU flags hanging on the walls. I think I've summarized the city pretty well.
| To my Dearest Suzy,
Staring upon your serene complexion as you quietly sleep next to me, I am overcome by the fortuity that brought us together. Every memory I have with you I treasure- you are a wonderful girlfriend, a wonderful friend. You seem so peaceful and unassuming, so delicate, I want to ensure the best for you, I want to make you happy. I can use the most florid of vocabulary, but in the end, I want you to know I always to be here for you.
Love, Eric
Dear Suzy,
I want this day to be our celebration of our lives, how wonderful our lives have come to be with the gift of each other, that every joyous moment with you is magnified ten-fold and every sacrifice made for each other is sweet despite the bitter. I hope that we can always keep that devotion you made- ' I hope we stay friends until we die', alive, always. Thank you for the gift of your love.
Love, Eric

| It was only few weeks ago that I'd been pretty upset for not getting the offer from a middle sized CPA firm, that I had SORT OF wanted. I felt even more disappointed because I'd been SO SURE that I'd get the position. ( The HR lady kinda hinted to me during the interview that I was gonna get it)
Feeling NOT SO GOOD, I kept sending my resumes. However, today I had an interview with a GREAT firm, and was offered for the position right away. This whole experience kinda woke me up, and made me realize how much opportunities are out there that I don't know about. I am not just referrng to jobs here, but I am talking about everything. I am talking about better choices that I can make once I venture out; a better road that I can take, instead of this one. I may be afraid of leaving it at first, but just the fact that there may be better ones out there gives me all the hope that I need right now.
P.S: Is any Sternie (junior or sophomore) looking for tax internship? My tax firm (member of HBSC Group) is looking for an Intern, so if any of you guys are interested, let me know.
| I am looking for a ROOMATE to live with after I graduate. If any of you needs a ROOMATE, just let me know.
Also, if any of you knows of Grace Kim's cell, let me know that too. I lost her cell #.
